Development rarely follows a straight path

Attenta starts from a fundamental insight: development rarely follows a straight path. Through experienced advisory, focused development and insight into the people who have to make the change work, Attenta helps leaders and teams connect strategic direction with human reality and turn new perspectives into clear decisions and shared action. What we give our attention to, we can begin to change.

Several paths to stronger leadership and teams

01

Advisory and development for leaders

As a leader you need both to navigate complex issues and to master the disciplines that make leadership work day to day. The advisory gives you a confidential and professional space to create an overview, challenge assumptions and qualify your decisions.

Development can, through Masterclasses, strengthen you and your leadership team in areas such as change management, the important conversation, coaching, situational leadership, feedback, balance in leadership and team dynamics – always grounded in your own reality and the responsibility you carry.

02

Team development – stronger collaboration and results

A strong team takes more than capable people. Focused team programmes turn differences into a strength, create clarity about responsibility and collaboration, and give you a stronger shared foundation for succeeding with the task. Think of newly formed teams, teams affected by conflict and stress, teams going through change and teams taking on new tasks. Attenta helps with solutions that fit your situation.

03

Insights Discovery – self-insight in practice

Attenta offers personal profiles, leadership profiles and team profiles. Colours make different preferences, strengths and reaction patterns visible, without putting people in boxes. A shared language, where your profiles are turned into clearer communication, more conscious choices, stronger collaboration, fewer conflicts, a focus on superpowers and, not least, wellbeing.

Why Attenta

Six standpoints for leadership

When the work rests on human judgement and leadership convictions, transparency matters – which is precisely why Attenta shares its leadership standpoints here.

1 Leadership is a responsibility – not merely a title

Leadership is a discipline in its own right. It requires you to take responsibility both for goals and for the impact you have on other people. A skilled leader creates the trust, direction and frameworks in which people can develop and perform.

2 Set the bar high for people and results alike

As a leader you have to deliver strong results and an environment where people thrive. From many years in leadership positions, with good results and evaluations, I know that ambitions for people and ambitions for the business must reinforce each other, and I know what it takes.

3 Know yourself as a leader – especially under pressure

You do not get to know your leadership best in fair weather, but when the pace and the pressure rise. That is why I work with conscious inner leadership, use personal profiles and facilitate a Masterclass on balance in leadership. If you can recognise your patterns, understand your reactions and lead more consciously, you make a real difference when it really matters.

4 Lead the way with values, courage and decisiveness

Values only take on meaning when they become visible in your choices – especially when the decisions are hard. Experience from national and international leadership settings has shown me that credibility does not come with the role, but is created when values, courage and action line up. Short-term solutions can feel easy in the moment, while the long-term ones often prove more durable.

5 Create the safety to say what needs saying

A sense of safety does not mean the absence of disagreement. It means that people dare to ask questions, admit mistakes and say what needs to be said. Professionally I draw on the research of Amy Edmondson into psychological safety and translate it into concrete conversations and everyday behaviour.

6 Make others shine – and share the responsibility

A strong team emerges when different strengths are brought into play and everyone takes responsibility. In team programmes this can be strengthened by working from, for example, Patrick Lencioni’s five dimensions, an Insights team profile or a shared clarification of purpose, values and ways of working together – always adapted to the reality and needs of the team.

How we work together

From first conversation to lasting change

  1. 01

    Clarification

After an initial conversation without obligation, we move into the actual collaboration and define goals, strategy and time frame.

  2. 02

    Design

The solution is tailored as agreed. Before we press start, the relevant people are briefed on the final plan, and last adjustments can be added.

  3. 03

    Sessions

Tailored activities are carried out, and in longer programmes we check in regularly and adjust as needed.

  4. 04

    Anchoring

What we give our attention to, we can change. For change that lasts, deliberate focus and any necessary follow-up are recommended.
